Ben and Jerry's Homemade
ETOV- Turn it around!
National Campaign

Adding a new twist to the much adored Free Cone Day, Ben & Jerry's is teaming up with Rock the Vote to make ice cream lovers an offer they can't refuse - free ice cream, free music, and the opportunity to have a voice in the next presidential election. Planned for several dates this summer, Ben & Jerry's Scoop Shops across the country will be participating in ETOV- Turn it around!, a day-long ice cream giveaway and voter registration drive. As if that wasn't enough, Ben & Jerry's has also brought Apple into the action. In exchange for people taking their "Oath to Vote" they get a chance to win an Apple iPod and Apple iMac computer.

"Ben & Jerry's is committed to generating positive social change and we love using ice cream to bring people together and raise awareness of issues that are important for our communities," said Walt Freese, Chief Marketing Officer, Ben & Jerry's. "Partnering with Rock the Vote to register voters and with Apple to promote people taking an Oath to Vote is an effective way to reach young voters and let them know how important it is to vote."

To commemorate their partnership with Rock the Vote, Ben & Jerry's has also created Primary Berry Graham- a delicious new flavor that features strawberry cheesecake ice cream with strawberries and a thick graham cracker swirl. Proceeds from this flavor will go to support Rock the Vote, which is dedicated to registering young voters, educating them on the issues, and mobilizing them to turn out at the polls.
