Do you have an active online relationship with your customers or the media? Do they come to your website? Do you send them email and online newsletters or catalogues? Then read on.

Your company website is a great place to start. You can add a REGISTER TO VOTE button to your homepage. A banner ad on your site. A cool, in-brand flash email to your e-list. And so much more.

Voteworks can work with you to set up a voter registration page, with your company or business network's logo, through our partners on the Working Assets Your Vote Matters project.

We can track how many people register because of your efforts, and let you know the results of your efforts. And, Working Asssets, who is supporting non-partisan get out the vote efforts, will contribute $1.50 per newly registered voter to non-profit project of your choice from our list.

(Data from customers who register online will be totally secure and will not be used for anything but non-partisan voter engagement.)

To request a custom tailored website for voter registration, fill out our online application and we will get back to you within a week to let you know if we can provide a site for you.

Working Assets and Voteworks will provide qualifying partners with the materials needed to motivate your audience using Web site promotions and e-newsletter content.

You can get a variety of other online elements from our Customer Campaign Tool Kit. Use our materials right off the web, or create your own! This includes:

  • a wide array of both animated and static buttons
  • a wide array of banner ads
  • flash-animated ads to post online or e-mail to your customers
  • modifiable copy for your website; we can help you develop content that promotes the voting message and reinforces your brand

Do you send catalog announcements or e-newsletters to your customers? Do you have a blog? Insert some online copy or a REMEMBER TO VOTE button.

Do your customers come to your site for other reasons? To get information? Order products? Play games? Think about how you can integrate voting and volunteering messages into those online elements. We have lots of ideas for you.

A surprising number of your customers may not be registered to vote, or they may need to update their address in order to be registered where they live. They will appreciate your thinking of them and reminding them to get registered and get to the polls.

Note: voter registration closes in many states one month before Election Day. It's important to know the state voter registration deadlines.

Don't forget, your website can be a powerful place to continue to inspire people to vote, all the way up to Election Day. There are many general buttons, banners, and messages that you can use all the way through. See our Customer Campaign Tool Kit for more!
