Activate
your customers on site or in your store with:
- A customized point of sale display for voter registration,
volunteering, and voter information.
- A vote graphic or "November 2" poster in
store windows.
- Up until the voter registration deadlines in each
state, you can do in-store or outside your premises
voter registration tabling. Proactively reaching out
to your customers is one of the most effective things
you can do to promote voting. In certain states where
we have coverage, Voteworks, with support from
The state PIRGs' New Voters Project, can also arrange for a non-profit,
non-partisan group to come and register people at your
location.
- You can co-brand with November
2 and National Voter Registration Week.
- You can help to promote voting on Election Day by
putting Signage in your window, having
retail staff reinforce "did you vote today" messages,
and holding an Election Day participation celebration
for all customers.
- You can also provide additional messaging on or before
Election Day, communicating "remember to vote
on Tuesday, November 2" and other non-partisan
but creative, in-brand, in-store messaging.
There are lots of great resources for you in our
Customer Campaign Tool Kit.
Remember, voter registration deadlines vary by state. To be sure a voter registration aspect of your program has the right timing, see voter registration deadlines.
